Creative influencers

Our creative influencers are a group of young people passionate about making culture and heritage accessible to all in Newark and Sherwood.

Aged 13 to 17, they are dedicated to making our museums, galleries, heritage buildings, and community spaces better for young people, families, and visitors of all ages.

Early years and families

We run free activities and events for children and families across Newark and Sherwood.

Taking place at museums, parks, and community venues across the district, these fun-filled family day outs include live performances, festivals, arts and crafts sessions, and more. Running throughout the year, our activities encourage youngsters to make friends, try different art forms, and learn through play.

Music for wellbeing

Our Music for wellbeing project helps people to connect with their community, learn new skills, and experience the joy music can bring.

Working with local music charities and community groups, we hold free musical events in schools, green spaces, and community venues across Newark and Sherwood.
