Leanne Moden
In residence from 2 May to 3 October 2026
Leanne is a poet, theatremaker, and educator based in Nottinghamshire.

About our artist-in-residence programme
We offer talented creatives a chance to develop their practice and collaborate with diverse communities across Newark and Sherwood.
Taking over the studio on the top floor of the National Civil War Centre, our artists in residence create new work, develop existing projects, and run creative activities and workshops across the district.
Previous artists in residence have included writers, artists, video game designers, puppeteers, and performers. Using our local heritage and museum collections as inspiration, our artists in residence bring new perspectives and make a meaningful impact, both on museum visitors and the local community.
